The Generation Laser Tour follows the successful release of Fiasco’s new album called “LASERS” which has already produced two hit singles “The Show Goes On” and “Out of My Head.” LASERS is an acronym for “Love Always Shines Everytime: Remember to Smile,” and the album is a reflection of a 14-point manifesto the Chicago-born MC composed to guide him on the project, including items like “We want substance in the place of popularity” and “We will not compromise who we are to be accepted by the crowd.”LASERS features production by the likes of Jerry Wonder and The Neptunes, as well as collaborations with John Legend, Trey Songz, and others.
New Boyz is a hip hop/rap duo that debuted in summer 2009 with their viral hit, “You’re a Jerk” (based on the local dance style of jerkin’), taken from their debut studio album “Skinny Jeanz and a Mic,” released in September 2009. The song peaked in the top thirty of the Billboard Hot 100. “Too Cool to Care” is the second studio album (released on May 17, 2011) by the group and it reached number 7 on the Rap Albums chart.
