LUPE FIASCO with the NEW BOYZ The Generation Laser Tour follows the successful release of Fiasco\u2019s new album called \u201cLASERS\u201d which has already produced two hit singles \u201cThe Show Goes On\u201d and \u201cOut of My Head.\u201d LASERS is an acronym for \u201cLove Always Shines Everytime: Remember to Smile,\u201d and the album is a reflection of a 14-point manifesto the Chicago-born MC composed to guide him on the project, including items like \u201cWe want substance in the place of popularity\u201d and \u201cWe will not compromise who we are to be accepted by the crowd.\u201dLASERS features production by the likes of Jerry Wonder and The Neptunes, as well as collaborations with John Legend, Trey Songz, and others.<\/p>\n New Boyz<\/strong> is a hip hop\/rap duo that debuted in summer 2009 with their viral hit, “You’re a Jerk” (based on the local dance style of jerkin\u2019), taken from their debut studio album \u201cSkinny Jeanz and a Mic,\u201d released in September 2009.
